It doesn't make much difference how the paint is put on as long as something has been said."--Jackson Pollock

I like this quote.  Every time I put a mark on the canvas, that mark is speaking.  What is it saying?  Is it communicating with the other marks, shapes, lines, color, etc.?  I have to ask myself what is being said with each stroke of my brush or mark I make.  I find myself wondering if this truth has application beyond the canvas?  Maybe.  Let’s try this: “It doesn’t make much difference what job you do in life, as long as something has been said with your life.”  This speaks to the purpose of our lives.  I think there is something to be said about this.  What about you?
